Cookies Policy

This English text is a translation provided for convenience. The Bulgarian original is the authoritative version and governs in the event of any discrepancy. See the Bulgarian documents for the binding text.

This policy describes what centio.bg stores on your device, what each item is for, and how long it stays there. The lists below are maintained alongside the site's code rather than separately from it — what you see here is what the site actually writes.

1. What a cookie is

1.1. A cookie is a small file a site leaves in your browser and reads back on your next visit. Alongside cookies, browsers offer another kind of storage — localStorage — which stays on your device in the same way. We list both, because the difference is technical rather than meaningful to you.

2. How you decide

2.1. On your first visit we show a banner with three categories. Everything other than the strictly necessary stays off until you turn it on — we do not read silence as consent, and nothing here is pre-ticked.

2.2. You can change your mind at any time through “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

3. Strictly necessary

3.1. The site does not work without these, which is why we do not ask for consent to them. None serves advertising and none leaves CENTIO.

4. Analytics

4.1. These help us see which pages get read, how far people get, and where the site makes them work too hard. They are written only if you consent; if you do not, nothing listed below appears on your device.

4.2. One note about PostHog, because it is unusual: before you consent it runs entirely in the browser's memory — it writes no cookie, builds no profile, and the identifier disappears when you reload. If you accept, that same identifier is written down and your visit is joined into one session from then on.

5. Marketing

5.1. These let us measure which of our campaigns work, and show you something relevant elsewhere rather than something random. They are written only if you consent.

6. Deleting them yourself

6.1. Every browser lets you inspect and delete cookies and local storage, usually under a privacy section in its settings. Note that deleting centio_consent brings the consent banner back, because that cookie is the record of your choice.

6.2. If you refuse the analytics and marketing cookies the site continues to work in full. The only thing lost is our ability to improve it based on how it is used.
